TRIO was created as a gathering place for people who crave great food!
I am a lover of downtown living and passionate about food and wine - and I wanted to give market square a comfortable place to eat and drink. Let me tell you about TRIO!

TRIO's AMBIENCE
The music is either jazz or something that I know all the words to. The booths are cozy and big enough to hold a few of your closest friends. The wi-fi is FREE, because sometimes you just need to check your email while away from home or the office. We have a beautiful hand-crafted fountain in our entrance to soothe both you and I. We have a takeaway counter at the front of TRIO for your convenience, so grab a sweet and a coffee or pick up a carryout item while still being able to keep an eye on your bike or your new puppy waiting just outside the doors. We have fans inside our patio, so when you are chillin' on the deck you are really chillin' not baking in that famous Knoxville heat! The patio is a great way to people watch while getting your vitamins and minerals needed to stay healthy and fit.

TRIO'S FOOD
We serve food fast, fresh, and made to order! We are open when you are hungry - breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our coffee is fresh, roasted to perfection and always free trade. Our baked goods are varieties you crave with a few daring ones to tempt you with.
We bake our signature lunas daily. We serve the best eggs benedict, our friends and regulars call them BENNIES. Paired with a mimosa or spicy bloody mary on a Sunday, they create the perfect beginning to a relaxing day.

For lunch, test your creative-culinary side with a made to order, custom bowl.
(with a little help from 30 fresh ingredients including housemade salad dressings, oven roasted meats, marinated portabellos and blackened shrimp.) Not in the mood for a salad? Try a freshly made panini with our featured side, or a bowl of our signature broccoli cheese soup!

Snack time at TRIO is my favorite!
Freshly brewed coffees and cappachinos...add a raspberry white chocolate scone and WOW!! When its hot outside, fruit smoothies and freshly brewed iced tea hit the spot.

When the clock ticks toward dinner and your tummy is growling, have no fear!
TRIO has meatloaf, chicken "pot pie", fresh salmon and pasta dishes to name a few. Feel free to pair any of these Secret Recipes with an adult beverage (beer, wine or a few of our favorite cocktails). Enjoy all this delicious food and you still have money to go to the movies - did anyone just think "date night?" Go ahead, treat yourself, surprise your friends, wow your spouse...head to 13 Market Square!
